Perhaps the older -generation people who lived in the post -Soviet time, that once a week, on Thursday, in all preschool and educational institutions, and at points of catering took place, were remembered. This day was mandatory and was considered a national day of fish dish. Today, fish for the inhabitants of the capital has become almost a delicacy. There are no specialized stores selling fish products, and if the fruits of the sea are sold, then at high prices, and not always fresh. To the question, “Why is there little fish on our table?”We asked the chief specialist of the Unitary Enterprise” Mojiparvar “Nadzhmiddin Kholikov:- What is the lack of fish deficit?- You can’t say that the fish has become a deficit. For example, in 2006 until September, 62 tons of fish were grown, and this year – 69 tons. Now there is a period of growth, so it’s too early to talk about the total volume.
– How is this product useful? On average, the annual need for a person for fish products is 23 kilograms. And in Soviet times, we could provide 19 kilos per capita, the rest were imported from other union republics. To date, the need of the population has increased, as the population has increased, and the production of fish products has decreased. I remember before people were forced to consume fish oil. In livestock farms on the part of the Fishpromsbyt enterprise, they imported 200-400 kilograms of fish oil for livestock feed, to support immunity and the development of bone tissue in calves. Speaking from a medical point of view, the lack of this product has significantly influenced their health, people get sick more and more. And the lack of iodine can be replenished with fish products.
