Allergic rhinitis is an allergic runny nose. We all periodically catch a cold, and a cold is often accompanied by fever, nasal congestion and sneezing. The reason for such a cold is hypothermia or viral infection. If the cold is not very launched, then it is quickly treated.
As for allergic rhinitis – it looks like a regular runny nose, only the cause of it lies in the body’s reaction to various allergens that provoke inflammation of the nasal mucosa. Its signs: nasal congestion, sneezing, itching and burning in the eyes, nose and nasopharynx, decrease or complete loss of smell, swelling, lacrimation from the eyes. The investigation – sleep disturbance, constant headaches and rapid fatigue.
Allergic rhinitis occurs in people with weak immunity. Most often, children and adolescents suffer from him who tolerate the disease. In general, allergic rhinitis in adults is no less common, but it is easier for an adult to cope with the manifestations of allergies, even if it is much easier for an adult to choose a medical drug that allows you to weaken the effects of allergens.
Such types of allergic rhinitis are distinguished:
Rhinitis is seasonal, which occurs when allergic to pollen of flowering plants, trees and herbs, to various pungent smells;
Runite year -round – allergies to all kinds of dust, pets, spores of mushrooms, etc. p.
The treatment consists in clarifying the cause of allergies and finding opportunities to avoid contacts with allergens causing rhinitis. . Not everyone has the opportunity to change their place of residence or to drive around the country, in order to avoid flowering a plant that causes allergies.
