Layering is a real life hack for fashionistas in the winter. The layered approach involves several layers of clothing worn on top of each other. It is very convenient because it allows you to regulate your body temperature: remove or unbutton the top layers when needed.
This option is perfect, for example, if you are going for a walk or you need to get to work, school, a restaurant, or another place in the cold season. Or if during the day you often need to go out into the cold air and back.
What does layering consist of? The stylist suggests considering this look:
First layer. Thermal underwear – especially if you have a long walk ahead. You can also use thin underwear that will be less noticeable under clothes (T-shirts and T-shirts). In addition, thin blouses, shirts, and turtlenecks are suitable as the first layer. Leggings or tights can be worn as the bottom.
Second layer. A sweater made of wool (be careful when ordering such items online, often sweaters with wool in the composition are itchy) or acrylic with fleece. They warm well, but at the same time are blown through. You can also wear items made of thick denim, suit fabric. These can be shirt jackets, sweatshirts or jackets. You should wear trousers made of the above-mentioned fabrics or thick jeans underneath. “If you want to wear a skirt, it is better to use two layers underneath. For example, wool tights and leggings on top,” the expert notes.
The third layer. It depends on individual preferences. This can be a membrane jacket or an insulated down jacket, a sheepskin coat or a fur coat.
