By the way, this salad can be called Norwegian if sprats are replaced with salmon. And you can cook the Odessa salad, replacing sprats with canned bulls. So cook a new salad every day! But back to the Riga salad.
What you need:
Bank of sprot 150 g, a can of green peas of canned (200 g), 2 fresh cucumbers, 2 “steep” eggs, rice 100 g, a small bag of mayonnaise and dill.
How to cook Riga salad:
Rinse the rice well before cooking. Then pour boiling water, add salt and cook for 20 minutes. After cooking the cereal, it is advisable to rinse with cold water, throwing it on a sieve.
Next, make a salad cut. Cut the sprats (leave a couple of fish for decoration), fresh cucumbers – circles, cut into slices with slices.
Mix everything with green peas and boiled rice, salt, if you want to pepper and season with mayonnaise. Sprinkle with cut dill.
P. S. Riga salad with sprats can be seasoned not only with mayonnaise, but also with sour cream, adding a little grated horseradish to it, as well as olive or sunflower oil.
